WOW... Instead of constructing arguments that point out all the flaws of their (fundamentalist) illogical rhetoric perhaps it's best to sometimes just shake our heads and be thankful that God's grace is sufficient for all.

P.S. I have finally started my own blog.

The only reference to "music" in the New Testament is Luke 15:25. It is the story of the prodical son. It was the older brother who heard "music and dancing" and that upset him. The Father's answer to him was that "we had to celebrate". I fear for those whose hearts are unable to celebrate. What are they going to do in heaven when the angels start playing the trumpets? [Revelation 8:2 and 8:6] Can't you just picture someone saying to God, "Excuse me but our tradition does not allow instrumental music!" Then again, maybe those folks won't have that problem?

Although fundamentalism in this sense is bad, it is not in all cases. This is an extreme case, but I don't think it excuses extremism on the other side either.
