I applaud Sir Charles' courage and boldness, even though I may not agree with everything he said. As a close NBA observer, He is very honest and more intelligent than he is given credit for.
Shame on Christians for not being more salty/attractive, but come on. We're all hypocrites. Only those who don't hold to a moral standard can claim not to be hypocrites.
Charles himself appears to elevate nonjudgementalism as a moral standard. Then in the next breath he shows how judgemental he is towards conservative Christians and those that don't share his views. God help us! America needs Jesus now more than ever.
Eric--At least you are consistent, you only post when you don't like something :)
Palmer--Barkley is more honest than most and more intelligent than given credit for.
I don't agree with his huge generalizations but I think his voice and perspective is interesting.
