So cool! Talk was wonderful and the singing was great! I can definitely picture the basketball story. I know I am out of the loop, but I am guessing the singing was way out of your comfort zone. Props to you for being so brave!
I'm the best friend of Kara, father of Lucas, minister, author (The Feast), life-long Piston fan . . . I am the Preaching and Teaching Minister for the Otter Creek Church (Nashville) and I am working on a doctorate degree (second year) at Columbia Seminary studying the relationship of postmodernism and Christianity.

I am so proud of you for practicing so hard and sharing your voice with everyone...you did great!
I got the musical bit from Patrick's blog... :) I'm so proud of my church!
Your church misses you!
KG--thanks for listening to a thousand different renditions of "Mary, Did You Know?"
Was that a church play or a GQ photo shoot? Best dressed clergy 07, hands down.
It was GQ for Jesus day at RCC. Ha, seriously, it was a big Christmas production (hence the hat).
Next time, I'll go with the after-hours tuxedo look I know that another preacher likes :)

Yes, way out of my comfort zone. Patrick's a musician at heart--so it was no big deal for him, he's a pro.
Happy New Year. How was Vegas?
